The Membership Ministry prayerfully considers and acts upon needs of the CPC congregation, friend and visitors.  Similar to our individual lives, changes occur with the congregation, the church administration and our ministry.

NEW MEMBER’S/INQUIRER’S GATHERINGS

Beginning Sunday, October 18^th, 2009

What does it mean to be a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church? Of the Presbyterian Church USA? Where is God calling us as a church?  How do we, as disciples of Jesus who happen to be Presbyterian, discern God’s vision for us as a church, as a community, as families and as individuals?  How de we fit together and relate as the body of Christ?  What questions which would guide and shape your walk of faith would you like to discuss?

Beginning Sunday morning, October 18^th we will gather for eight Sunday mornings ending on Sunday, December 13^th, 2009 (there will be no gathering on Sunday, November 29^th.)  Meetings will be held at the Manse.  This will be a gathering of those who want to join our church or simply want to explore membership.  The gatherings will be guided by members of Session, Deacons and other church members.  There is no minimum attendance requirement, nor an expectation that inquiring participants must join the church.  However, all in attendance will be invited and encouraged to join CPC.
