MEET THE SEMINARIANS
Shellie Sauder Aseline will continue her staff position in music ministry as Informal Worship Leader. Shellie and Jesse, who married in May 2007, feel blessed to continue to serve and share fellowship with their CPC family.
Shellie graduated from Eastern University in 2005 with a B.A. in Anthropology and Mission and is currently in her middle year at Princeton Theological Seminary with an emphasis on mission theology in postmodern Western society and Blibical languages. This coming year will be her fifth in church ministry and she anticipates another year of spiritual and musical growth.
Ben Robinson is from Spokane, WA and in his middle year at Princeton Seminary. Ben has been involved with CPC for several years. From 2003-2006 CPC supported Ben as a missionary working in Cairo, Egypt. Karen and Tim have known Ben since he was 15 years old in their youth group at Whitworth Presbyterian Church in Spokane. Throughout high school and college Ben worked with the Harrison's doing Jr. High Ministry at WPC. After graduating from Whitworth College with a B.A. in Religion, Ben moved to Cairo to serve as a Youth Director as St. John's Anglican Chruch. While in Egypt, Ben attended the Evangelical Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters degree in Middle Eastern Christianity. Ben's wife, Emily, is also from Whitworth College.
Since graduating she has helped with the youth group in Cairo, and is currently working as a nurse at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Ben enjoys running, studying (and living in) the Middle East, and making questionable fashion choices. After graduating from Princeton Seminary, Ben and Emily will look into receiving a call to the Middle East or possibly going back to school.
