Our Ministries...

Christian Education

Christian Education at Clinton Presbyterian Church begins at birth and continues through adulthood. Our "Cradle Roll" program provides quarterly parenting resources for children from birth through three years of age. Sunday School classes are offered to children and youth beginning at age three through high school. Confirmation, or the "Youth Membership Experience (YME)" is open to senior high students in tenth grade and above. Adult education and Bible study classes are offered to adults both on Sunday morning and during the week. We also offer one week of Vacation Bible School each summer.

Membership

The Membership Ministry prayerfully considers and acts upon needs of the CPC congregation, friend and visitors. Similar to our individual lives, changes occur with the congregation, the church administration and our ministry.

Mission

The Mission Ministry is experiencing the presence of Christ each day through the generous gift of this congregation of time, talents, prayer and support. We support national, international, state and local Missions and organizations. This is done through prayerful donations and disbursements each month.

Personnel

The Session is responsible . . . to provide for the administration of the program of the church, including employment of non-ordained staff, with concern for equal employment opportunity, fair employment practices, personnel policies, and the annual review of the adequacy of compensation for all staff, including all employees.

Property

Our Property Ministry at CPC consists of the following:

Working together as a Church family getting closer to one another and to God.

Working towards keeping our house of worship in order so that all may feel welcome and confortable as members of our church family.

Stewardship

Stewardship is a matter of faith, and stewardship is always a response of faith. This ministry provides opportunities for members and friends of Clinton Presbyterian Church to share their financial gifts as well as their time and talents to God and the church.

We continue to look for ways to spread God's message in Stewardship through creative campaigns, and firmly believe that stewardship is vital to the life of the church and our lives as Christians.

Worship

The purpose of the Worship Ministry is to glorify God by supporting the pastor’s work.

We seek to accomplish this by:

  • Striving to ensure a warm, biblically-based worship service
  • Encouraging discipleship through worship
  • Providing for regular and special worship experiences, and encouraging the congregation to participate fully and regularly in them
  • Seeking ways to deepen the congregation’s relationship with our LORD.

The Worship Ministry meets the first Tuesday of each month.

For more information contact worship4cpc@gmail.com or any member of the Ministry. Visitors are always welcome! You might even decide to join us!

Worshiping at CPC

Our worship service begins at 9:30 every Sunday morning. The Chancel Choir and the Praise Team lead music for our service.

Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. We alternate between intinction (coming forward to receive the elements) and serving in the pews. On November 4 we will serve in the pews.

We offer many opportunities to praise God through music. Our Praise Team, Youth Praise Team, Chancel Choir, Children’s Choir, Youth Chime Choir, Teen Bell Choir, Women’s Bell Choir, and Men’s Bell Choir are all led by our Director of Music Ministry, Matthew Bradley. If you or your children are interested in any of these opportunities contact him by email at music4cpc@gmail.com or by phone 908-735-5029.
